بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السادة الكرام مجلس المؤسسة المصرية لرعاية مرضى القدم السكري،
تحية طيبة وبعد،
أرجوا الموافقة على انشاء تجمع عمل داخل المؤسسة وذلك لدراسة مسببات إصابات القدم السكري ومشاكلها وتعقيداتها وكيفية تفادي تلك المشاكل وطرق الحل والمساهمة في البحث العلمي المشترك ونشر الأبحاث.
وأن يكون اسم هذه المجموعة:
تجمع دعم ودراسة وإنقاذ إصابات القدم لمرضى السكر في عموم أفريقيا
(Pan African Diabetic Foot Study Group).
وداخل هذا التجمع يتم انشاء مجموعات عمل مختلفة تهدف لذلك (بحث علمي، تشخيص مبكر، إنشاء بروتوكولات للعمل، ورش عمل تدريبية، مؤتمرات علمية، المساهمة في أفضل ناتج للدبلومة المهنية لعلاج القدم السكري. ويشترك فيها أساتذة استشاريون من مختلف بلدان أفريقيا أبدو رغبتهم في التعاون العلمي والدراسي والبحثي معنا مع إمكانية عمل المساهمة فى ورش العمل والمؤتمرات لهذا الهدف.
مرفق جميع المعلومات عن الأساتذة الأربعة و الذين نتمنى مشاركتهم لنا في هذا التجمع
وسيتم عمل صفحة على الانترنت لذلك التجمع وتلك المجموعات
(طبعا بعد الموافقات الأمنية وغيرها علي أسماء الاستشاريين المقترحين من أفريقيا)

Prof. Zulfiqarali G. Abbas
Prof. Abbas is a Consultant Physician, Endocrinologist, and Diabetologist in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with over 30 years of experience in diabetic foot care. He is an FRCP of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians of London.
He is the Honorary President & Immediate Past President of D-Foot International, Chair of the Pan-African Diabetic Foot Study Group, Executive Board Member of the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF), and Vice President of the Association of International Medical Salvage of the Extremity.
A widely published researcher, author, and editor, Prof. Abbas founded the Step by Step Foot Project in 2003, now implemented in 128 countries. His honors include the Karel Bakker Diabetic Foot Medal of Honour (2019), the Life Achievement Award (2022), and recognition from the Diabetic Foot Society of India (2022) and the Medical Council of Tanganyika (2025).
